Message from our Founder

As one of the true pioneers of laser sintering technology, Dr. Xu Xiaoshu is the leading expert in laser powder bed fusion industry with more than 20 years’ experience. Dr. Xu served as the technical director at the industry's first laser sintering company -- DTM Corporation in the early 1990's.

Additive manufacturing is playing an increasingly vital role in many industries. As a player in the additive manufacturing field, Farsoon Technologies is dedicated to pushing innovation in machine and material development, to open up true manufacturing applications.”

Our Story

In Oct 2009, Dr. Xu Xiaoshu founded Farsoon Technologies in a small warehouse at outskirt of Changsha city, with the clear and pioneering vision to transform the additive technology into advanced manufacturing tools. Started with a small team of 10, today Farsoon is a global company employs more than 700 experts with channels covering 30+ countries or regions, serving industry customers around the globe.

Introduced: the user-oriented, highly productive Dual-lasers FS301M metal system, targeted for aerospace and medical industry.

Introduced world’s large-format SLS system HT1001P and large-frame metal system FS421M under CAMS concept.

Farsoon Europe GmbH is founded in Stuttgart, Germany.

Announced the innovative Continuous Additive Manufacturing Solution (CAMS) Concept at Formnext in Frankfurt, Germany.

Farsoon Americas CORP is founded in Austin, Texas – where the DTM Corporation started.

The third generation high-temperature capable SLS production platform HT403P is introduced.

Compact frame metal system FS121M is launched.

The second flagship PA12 material FS3300PA is added into material portfolio.

Farsoon introduced its first medium-frame metal system FS271M.

Launched the first pure PA6 high-temperature material for SLS process with partner BASF.

Super temperature, compact SLS platform 252P is introduced.

Farsoon relocated to its brand-new 3D Printing Industrial campus.

The second generation high-production speed SLS platform 402P Series is released.

Carbon fiber reinforced PA12 based material FS3400CF is introduced to the market.

Farsoon introduced its first generation, very own production-scale SLS platform FS401P.

Farsoon Material team launched its glass bead reinforced PA12-based material FS3401GB.

Farsoon released its first powder material product for plastic laser sintering: FS3200PA – a PA12 material.

While SLS remains a new technology in China, Farsoon received continuous material orders from key industrial customers in the USA.
