Don Xu, is board member of Farsoon Global Management Team and Managing Director of Farsoon Americas, where he leads the Farsoon Americas Team on Strategy, business build-up, technical sales and marketing. Don enjoys many years of experience in project management and technical 3D modeling in design industry, holds a Master-degree with exceptional honors in Design from University of Texas, Austin. Since 2014, Don has built Farsoon Global Business Group from ground-up, work closely with our global partners from material, software, optics, control and service, for a more connected and capable AM eco-system with Farsoon’s philosophy “Open for Industry”. This highly-efficient network ensures our customers with faster, best-in-class communication and service on Farsoon additive machines.
Phillip Conner, VP of Operations Farsoon Americas, joined in 2017 bringing his 25 years’ extensive background in laser sintering and manufacturing/prototyping solutions with major additive machine manufacturers and service bureaus. Served in several departments including machining, engineering technician and lead application development and AM production manager, Phillip has built a profound knowledge in both metal additive systems and applications, highlighted with his experience working with Solid Concepts/Stratasys Direct where he built the metals program from one machine to a fully integrated production facility producing end use parts for turbine engines in 2007. With unique skill sets in developing best practices for additive manufacture Phillip intends to use his extensive knowledge of manufacturing to solidify Farsoon as a world class development and manufacturing company.
David Martin, Director of Customer Support of Farsoon Americas, is a widely-endorsed, industry veteran in additive manufacturing with more than 20 years’ experience in field service and customer support. With many years working with major industrial additive systems manufacturers, service bureaus, and world-class manufacturing leaders, David has developed a profound knowledge in structure, optics, mechanism, applications and customer support for both plastic and metal laser sintering systems. Dave leads a growing team of field engineers who are ready to support Farsoon customers throughout North America. “Joining Farsoon is like coming home,” says David, “It reminds me of the good old days working with open platform additive systems in early 2000s. With expanding Farsoon service personnel and inventory in the States, we are eager to work with industry customers with our innovation and knowledge in additive manufacturing.”

Jim Braddick, Director of North American Sales, located at Houston, Texas, brings over 30 years of technical professional sales experience to Farsoon Americas. With a background in injection molding and extrusion production equipment, Jim started his additive journey with Solid Concepts/Stratasys Direct as a territory manager in 2012 – all these experiences gave him an advantage and many opportunities to grow his territories with a focus on industrial production, and lead him to joining Farsoon Americas in 2019. Jim believes the future of additive manufacturing industry is driven by the new material development and a truly open 3D printing production platform to expand the envelope of direct end-use applications. Jim now leads a dedicated technical sales team with a profound knowledge and experience in the additive industry to bring the customer’s vision to life.
Jeff Kinzer, Regional Account Manager – Central NA, located at Troy, Ohio, enjoys over 20 years’ experience of machinery and manufacturing before he joined additive industry in 2012, where he had the unique opportunities acquiring a wide range of technology knowledges including SLA, MJP, SLS, DMLS, FDM and Polyjet. This unique background introducing multiple AM technologies and equipment to established rapid prototyping/manufacturing environment where multiple 3D printing/scanning and traditional tooling technologies were being utilized in-house, has convinced Jeff that the only way additive manufacturing can be a major contributor in the industrial revolution will be to offer a truly OPEN SYSTEM that is well suited for a multitude of industries. Sharing the same vision “Open for Industry”, now Jeff is proudly representing Farsoon Technologies Americas, and bringing this open additive system to manufacturing reality.
Greg Sabin, Regional Account Manager-Eastern NA, located at Havelock, North Carolina, has a solid 20 years’ technical background in Aerospace engineering, working for Naval Air System with expertise in structure design & strength analysis amongst sixteen aircraft types. Starting as a metal additive expert in 2008, Greg had worked at North Carolina State University facility and emerging additive industrial manufacturing bases. With his extensive experience in technical additive process development, machine operations for both laser-based & electron beam, testing and qualification, and design-for-additive, Greg is now representing Farsoon Americas and ready to work with companies throughout the country on industrial additive manufacturing.
Riley McElroy, Regional Account Manager-West Coast NA, located in Portland, Oregon, brings his 10 years’ engineering experience to the Farsoon Americas team including machine design, product development, design for AM, and lean manufacturing. With core belief in industrial 3D Printing to be the next generation manufacturing system for improved productivity and sustainability, Riley is willing to use his unique technical skills and experience as valuable assets in communication with potential customers, further developing additive sales network in the region, and finding new creative applications for existing and future Farsoon customers.
Ray Jones, based in Austin, Texas, is a part of the Applications and Technical Pre-sale team with Farsoon Americas. Prior to joining Farsoon, Ray worked with Stratasys Direct Manufacturing as the lead SLS process technician. Fluent in the use of Autodesk NETFABB, Fusion 360, and Farsoon’s own BuildStarTM and MakeStarTM software suites, Ray has worked with a wide range of partners and industries in the States to support customer needs including polymer and metal additive applications, machine integration, technical support & training, build/cost analysis.
