Since its launch in 2023, the 4x500W FS350M has established itself as a benchmark industrial metal AM solution, combining a versatile 433 × 358 × 400 mm build volume with an ultra-compact footprint. Its proven balance of productivity, material versatility, and industry-low operating costs has made it indispensable for precision applications in aerospace components, automotive tooling, and footwear production molds. Since its launch, the FS350M-4 series has seen over 100 installations in the consumer products sector alone.
Today, Farsoon advances the platform with two targeted upgrades:
1. The 4x1000W FS350M represents a significant technological advancement, combining increased laser power with innovative technologies to achieve breakthrough performance. This configuration delivers enhanced processing capabilities for specialty alloys while dramatically improving production efficiency, making it particularly suited for research institutions and manufacturers developing next-generation applications in demanding sectors. The 4x1000W configuration can be compatible with powerful Farsoon Beam Shaping Technology, deliver up to a 200% build efficiency compared to the 4x500W laser configuration.
2. Developed in collaboration with leading industry partners, the 6x500W FS350M addresses the growing need for industrial-scale additive manufacturing. Its advanced multi-laser system and optimized production workflow enable unprecedented throughput for serial production of small-to-medium metal components. This configuration is poised to transform mass manufacturing in consumer electronics, medical devices, and automotive components, offering true production-grade capabilities.
These parallel developments demonstrate Farsoon’s commitment to advancing both technology innovation and production scalability within the proven FS350M platform architecture.

Through continuous innovation over the past two years, all FS350M series systems now deliver enhanced value with three key advantages: reduced manufacturing costs, improved production efficiency, and superior part quality – all enabled by Farsoon’s latest AM technologies.
Lower Cost Per Part
Despite its exceptional performance, both upgraded 4x1000W and 6x500W FS350M retains a compact footprint of 6 m², enabling high-density factory integration for flexible production layouts and maximized throughput.
Engineered for cost efficiency in large-scale additive manufacturing, the FS350M Series minimizes operational expenses—particularly in inert gas consumption, a major cost driver in AM production. Its optimized gas system achieves full chamber purging within 11 minutes and operates at an ultra-low flow inert consumption rate of 3–5 L/min during printing, significantly below industry averages.
Advanced Process Development for Enhanced Efficiency & Precision
• Recoating: Each laser of FS350M Series achieves scanning speeds up to 10 m/s. The latest recoating technology ensures stable powder spreading at 400 mm/s—completing a single layer in just 8 seconds, significantly boosting efficiency.
• Multi-Layer Thickness Parameters: Adjusting layer thickness within a single build optimizes efficiency based on application needs. Fine-tuning recoating can increase productivity by 30–40%.
• Smart Lapping: Dynamically adjusting overlap positions balances workloads across layers, minimizing down time and maximizing synchronized laser operation.
• Detail & High-Speed Parameters: Each layer can be split into contour and in-fill zones. Precision parameters are used for contours, while high-speed settings accelerate the in-fill—ensuring both surface quality and fast throughput.
Equipped with the latest AM Technologies
The FS350M Series offers value-added advance metal AM solution with support for multiple Farsoon-exclusive modules that help reduce manufacturing costs:
• SRS (Support Reduction System): Minimizes support structures, reducing material waste and post-processing time.
• Precision Cube: Enables fine multi-laser calibration, improving processing speed and reducing manual labor.
• MES (Manufacturing Execution System): Provides end-to-end production control, integrating process monitoring, material tracking, and quality management for streamlined operations.
Permanent Filtration System
All FS350M Series now come equipped with an integrated permanent filtration system, enabling stable, long-duration printing with minimal maintenance. It enhances safety when processing reactive materials, reduces filter replacement costs, and maximizes uptime—all with simplified operation.
Farsoon continues to advance industrial metal additive manufacturing with tailored solutions for both advanced applications and high-volume production. The FS350M 4×1000W configuration is now open for global pilot programs, while the 6×500W version is available for early adopters in the AMEA region.
