3D Infinity – A leading part service provider based in Maldegem, Belgium will install a Flight SS403P-2 system from Farsoon Europe GmbH boosting its series production capability in laser powder bed fusion technology.
The investment machine, Flight SS403P-2 is equipped with two powerful 300-Watt industrial fiber laser, and will enable significantly higher production yield up to 2 full industrial-scale builds ((cylinder size 400 × 400 × 450mm) within 24 hours. This new machine addition will support 3D Infinity’s machine park with expanding high-volume series production projects focused on high-performance PA11 and reinforced materials, targeting functional end-use applications.
With Farsoon’s motto “Open for Industry” which means customers have the freedom of choosing the specific materials and fine-tuning the processing parameters according to application needs, without additional cost. By taking this great advantage, 3D Infinity will be able to deliver the highest mechanical performance, sustainable, and cost-optimized production parts with customer-sourced bio-compatible PA11 materials. Farsoon is pleased to further enhance the partnership with 3D Infinity with this new Flight Technology 3D Printing platform, in addition to the first SS403P system installed at 3D Infinity less than one year ago; supporting bio-based material series AM production projects in European medical market.
The Flight SS403P-2 Dual-laser system is presented at Farsoon’s Booth 11.1-C11 during Formnext 2023.
