Since first introduced during TCT Asia 2021, the FS721M multi-laser platform has been well adopted by industrial customers in automotive, molds & tooling fields and large-format part fabrication. Addressing the needs to further enhance the production yield and manufacturing turnover, Farsoon now integrates CAMS – Continuous Additive Manufacturing Solution Concept with the eight 500W or 1000W lasers FS721M platform; opening up many new potentials for high-volume productivity, increased automation and reduced operational cost.

Large-Format Solution

The FS721M CAMS is the large-format metal laser powder bed fusion system integrated with the CAMS concept offering continuous production capability. Combined with its expanded rectangular build size of 720 x 420 x 650 mm or 720 x 420 x 390 mm, the FS721M CAMS is the ultimate series manufacturing tool for large-format applications in automotive, tooling, and other manufacturing industries.

Series Production Ready

Equipped with a large build cylinder, powerful eight 500W or 1000W lasers, and a highly efficient digital scanning system, the FS721M CAMS can boost productivity targeting series manufacturing. The integrated conveyor system and exchangeable cartridge strategy of the FS721M CAMS enable continuous production capability and intensive manufacturing turnovers with minimal machine downtime between the build jobs.

Quality + Repeatable

The FS721M CAMS features many features and capabilities for enhanced part quality and repeatability, like high-performance digital optics, customized multi-laser scanning strategies, and process parameters for higher productivity and uniformed performance in multi-laser overlapping zones. The advanced closed-loop powder handling system and an integrated permanent filtration module are offered for enhanced operational ease and safety.

Wing Rudder with Light-weight Structure

This wing rudder is purpose-designed and functional-prototyped for aerospace industry. Featured with advanced light-weight design including internal lattice supports and integrated structure, this part has achieved significant weight reduction over 60%. During the functional validation test it shows a comprehensive improvement on the mechanical performance. Thanks to additive technology the production of the part allows for 50% reduced lead time and 30% saving of manufacturing cost.

Discover FS721M CAMS System

1-Build Station
The build Station module is where the sintering process takes place. Once the build cartridge is in place, the build packet files would be loaded into Farsoon’s BuildStarTM operating software, then the build process begins.
2-Part Loading / Extraction Dock
The FS721M CAMS is equipped with an automated conveyer for build cartridge loading, and transporting to build station via an electronic door located on the left side of the system. Upon build completion, the build cartridge is conveyed to the same dock to extraction and transferred to the breakout station.
3-Permanent Filtration System
The integrated, permanent filtration module allows for long-lasting operation hours reducing the cost of filter changes. The users only need to empty the dust bin when needed. Its advanced capability enables long-lasting operation hours of reactive materials in a clean, safe environment.
4-Breakout Station
The breakout station is fully compatible with the FS721M CAMS exchangeable cartridge. It offers enhanced ease of use, enabling true continuous workflow with almost no machine down time. This fully enclosed, inert work station allows for the safe and clean removal of powder from a completed build without the user needing to come in contact with the powder.
5-Powder Handling System
FS721M CAMS Closed-loop Powder Handling System integrates multiple powder processes; including powder recycling, storage, sieving and refreshed powder supply. The whole process is conducted under a fully closed, inert atmosphere.
6-Electric Forklift
The exchangeable cartridge is transported with an industrial electric forklift between the FS721M CAMS system and part breakout station. The robust forklift is capable of lifting cartridge with a full build, ensuring a safe, efficient and eco-friendly workflow.
